Eco Arts Festival!

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

In Philly starts the 1st annual Eco Arts Festival. What joy. I love that there is enough interest in green artistry that someone is finally doing a whole festival about it. I hope I can make it out as a patron, as I am only beginning in my trek to greener art, I don’t feel ready to sell or present at such a venue.

Books as art, part one

Friday, March 12th, 2010

What do I love? I love green art. Art that reuses things that might get thrown away, or is just a part of a greater vision for this Earth.

So, instead of causing me pain that books are being destroyed, I absolutly love that books are being reused and turned into something beautiful. (Of course, as long as they aren’t rare or out of print)

So to start this series, I bring you the Book Sculptures by Jacqueline Rush Lee!
